Keith Inman

I love First Baptist Church! As a graduate of Murray State University, I was a member of FBC during my college days and while serving as the campus minister for the Murray State BCM. I began serving as the pastor of FBC in the fall of 2012.

After graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, I spent 28 years doing campus ministry at Arkansas State University and and Murray State University. I was also the director of collegiate ministry and young adults at the Kentucky Baptist Convention. 

I'm married to Carole, and together we have three children and four grandchildren. I enjoy hiking, reading, golfing, and watching SEC football.

Boyd Smith

I came to First Baptist Church as the minister to students and activities in 1994. After serving in this capacity for nearly 17 years, I became the pastor of prayer and care, a new position at FBC.


I spend much of my time at the hospital, nursing homes, retirement centers and the homes of the elderly in Murray. I know what it’s like to be sick, as I have experienced the healing touch of God as well. I believe in the power of prayer and I keep a prayer journal of the requests that people give me. My wife Wanda and I have been happily married for over 35 years.

I came to First Baptist Church in July 2018. I'm so passionate about children's ministry! After attending WKU, I felt a calling into the ministry and have continued my journey ministering to children and families ever since.


I'm married to Roger, who I met on summer missions as a college student. Together, we have two sons, Ezra and Wyatt. Our family loves traveling, visiting children's museums, and learning about space and robots!

I came to FBC in September of 2014. I am responsible for maintaining all financial records of the church and ensuring that all regulatory financial requirements are performed properly. I am a stickler for details!

I have served previously at churches in Mayfield, KY and Brentwood, TN. I'm married to Dirk and we have three children, Bryan (who is married to Rachel), Shelby, and Jonah. We also have one adorable grandchild, Cason.


I love music, especially in the church setting, and following Kentucky basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

I came to FBC in 1972 as pastor's secretary. Today, I currently serve in the area of pastoral care ministry and provide support for church ministries. 


My husband, Bill, and I have three grown children, Jeremy (Nikki), Brian (Jennifer), and Catherine (James), and six grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with grandchildren and watching them play soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball,l and cheer! I also enjoy singing in the Worship Choir here at FBC.

Lauren Dunlap

I joined the church as the Mother’s Day Out director in 2017. I have 11 years of experience in the field of mental health counseling as a licensed clinical social worker. I love working with children and have specialized in birth to 5 years of age at my previous employer. I enjoy watching children grow and learn. I have seen the positive influence Mother’s Day Out has had on my own children. I welcome open two-way communication with parents to jointly celebrate parenting joys and tackle challenging struggles.


I am married to Zach and have two daughters, Emilia and Ruby. I also have one dog, Dean. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, reading, exercising, and spending time with my family and friends. 

Rhonda Roberts

I joined our staff in August of 2019. I have been a member of FBC since 1984.  I enjoy being a mom to Kelsey and Christopher, mother-in-law to Tyler, and especially Grammie to Benjamin and Henry. I love studying the Word with my “sister-friends” that weekly meet in my home and singing praises to the Lord with the FBC Praise Team. I retired from teaching in 2017, but since then have continued to teach on a part-time basis.


I rejoice that this season of life has blessed me with opportunities to serve Him. This position as Wednesday night cook is my next exciting ministry adventure! I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday nights.

Jason Ellerbrook

I joined the FBC staff in August of 2020. I am happily married to my wife, Leslie, and we have four children: Rebecca, Jack, John, and James.


I began my career in ministry with FUGE and Crossings Camps. I then held several positions at LifeWay, including director of training and event production, director of adult events, and national men's ministry leader. I co-founded Engage Media Partners in 2015 to help churches through the promotion of faith-based films and resources including I Can Only Imagine, War Room, God’s Not Dead, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and The Case for Christ.


I am deeply passionate about equipping churches to help men come to know Christ and more fully experience Him. 

Jon Kyle Allred

I've served God's church in various roles, including senior pastor, youth pastor, and worship pastor. I came to FBC in September of 2015 to serve as a student pastor and oversee all 6th-12th grade ministries.


I received a B.S. degree from Murray State in 2007 and I'm currently working on my MDIV seminary degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. 


I'm married to my beautiful wife and best friend, Jamie. The Lord has blessed us with four wonderful daughters (Halle, Anna Grace, Nora, and Layla). It's my goal at FBC to teach students on how to reach their peers for Christ.

Mike Rose

I became interested in music while talking piano, voice, and cello lessons each week as my father studied music at Southern Seminary.


I have a music education degree from Austin Peay, a church music degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College, and a church music master's from Southern Seminary. Later in life, I felt a calling to public education and returned to school for a degree in curriculum and instruction. I am also certified as a principal in the state of Tennessee.


I've also held church positions in Hopkinsville from 1981-1986 and Cadiz from 1986-2015. I joined FBC in June of 2016.


I live on Lake Barkley with my two dogs: Bullet and Phyllis. 

Megan Downey

I joined the FBC team in August of 2019 as the youth ministry assistant. In the summers of 2018 and 2019, I served on FBC's Summer Impact Team, specifically interning with youth ministry. I enjoyed the gospel conversations and relationships that were built with the high school girls. I transitioned out of the youth ministry assistant position in February 2021. What a joy it is to serve our church! 


I graduated from Murray State in the spring of 2017. I served at the BCM on Murray State's campus for 4 years. I love college students!

In my free time, you can catch me eating at Qdoba, reading a book, or being a homebody.

Belinda Stevens

I joined the FBC staff in March of 2002 in a custodial position. In September of 2014, I assumed a new position as facility manager. I love FBC and work to maintain the buildings and grounds.


I have two grown children, Josh and Kelsey, and three grandchildren. I love spending time with my family!

Tina Myers

Church Librarian

I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the librarian at FBC! I have developed a love for our library after working for several years as a volunteer on Sunday mornings and in the summer. I am amazed at all of the different kinds of books and other resources our library has to offer, and look forward to sharing them with our church and community.


I am a graduate of Murray State University with degrees in elementary education and special education. I retired in May of 2020 from Marshall County Schools where I worked as a special education teacher at South Marshall Middle School.


My husband, Steve, and I live in Hazel with our cat, Puddin. We enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans.
