Here are FBC, we believe that life change happens best in the context of relationships. We aim to engage the community of college students by building relationships and helping encourage deep growth in their walk with Jesus.
Outreach. Relationships. Growth.
FBC College is a student-led ministry focused on campus outreach and discipleship. If you are interested in being a part of our FBC College, email Megan Downey at firstname.lastname@example.org!
9:45 am in the Family Life Center
We believe that life change happened best in the context of relationships. Join us on Sunday morning as we eat breakfast and study God's Word together. College Sunday School is at 9:45 am in the FLC.
FBC College Worship Service
Sundays at 7:00 pm in the Family Life Center
The message will be challenging, interactive, and discussion-driven. We start off each event with food and fellowship before diving into worship. Talk to any worship service attendee and you will quickly discover why you need to be at the FLC on Sundays at 7:00 pm. See you in August 22!

2. College Ministry
I joined the FBC staff in August of 2020. I am happily married to my wife, Leslie, and we have four children: Rebecca, Jack, John, and James.
I began my career in ministry with FUGE and Crossings Camps. I then held several positions at LifeWay, including director of training and event production, director of adult events, and national men's ministry leader. I co-founded Engage Media Partners in 2015 to help churches through the promotion of faith-based films and resources including I Can Only Imagine, War Room, God’s Not Dead, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and The Case for Christ.
I am deeply passionate about equipping churches to help men come to know Christ and more fully experience Him.

2. Upcoming Events
I joined the FBC team in August of 2019 as the youth ministry assistant. In the summers of 2018 and 2019, I served on FBC's Summer Impact Team, specifically interning with youth ministry. I enjoyed the gospel conversations and relationships that were built with the high school girls. I transitioned out of the youth ministry assistant position in February 2021. What a joy it is to serve our church!
I graduated from Murray State in the spring of 2017. I served at the BCM on Murray State's campus for 4 years. I love college students!
In my free time, you can catch me eating at Qdoba, reading a book, or being a homebody.
