Monday: Chapel at Home
Look for our chapel video on Monday in the Kids1st Facebook page and YouTube channel. We will watch the Wonder Clubhouse and follow along just like we do at MDO Chapel.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: The Hannah and Kaley Show
The Hannah and Kaley Show is a funny show mocked after the So and So Show. It is available on our Kids1st YouTube channel. We need questions from kids! Parents, ask your kids what questions they have and text them to me. You can also post them in the Kids1st Facebook Group. Hannah and Kaley will answer them on the show!
Wednesdays: MidWeek at Home
On our church Facebook page and on our Online Resources tab, videos and parent discussion guides are provided so that you can lead your family in our MidWeek programs at home. Currently, elementary kids are studying forgiveness and preschool children are learning that they can follow Jesus.
Fridays: Fun Fridays
Each Friday, a fun family activity will be posted in our Kids1st Facebook Group.
Hangouts with Serenity
Serenity will be contacting our kids and FaceTiming them, setting up Zoom meetings, and sending them mail and videos to stay connected.
Story Time with Kale and Hannah
Hannah and Kaley will occasionally post stories on our Kids1st YouTube channel. Stay tuned for lots of amazing stories!
Pie Kale Memory Verse Challenge

Preschool and Children
Preschool and Children
Kids1st Ministry is designed to engage children from birth through 5th grade in meaningful activities that help them learn about Christ and His great love for them.
Kids1st: Sundays at 8:30 am & 11:00 am
Sunday School at 9:45 am
MidWeek: Wednesdays at 6:15 pm
Our team loves Jesus and kids in such a way that it makes Sunday School, Kids1st Worship, and MidWeek so much fun! We believe that God has a purpose for each child and a perfect plan for their life. We believe that all children can and should be provided the opportunity to learn about their Creator who made them and loves them more than they can imagine. You can be assured that your kids will learn that every story in the Bible points to Jesus and that we were made for His glory! They will be taught to apply God's Word to their lives in simple ways that they can continue to build upon as they grow.
Kids1st is a time for children to learn about the Bible in a setting designed just for them. Drop-off begins
at 8:15 am, 9:30 am, and 10:45 am. For first-time visitors, it may be helpful to check our "What to Expect" page.
Here's how you can have the best Sunday morning:
1. Sign your kids in on their floor (birth-K = first floor, 1-5 grades = second floor)
2. Pick them up after going to Sunday School and worship
Your child will be in the same Wednesday night class as their Sunday morning class. Come to the Education Building at 6:00 pm to settle your child into their class. Our signs on the walls will point you in the right direction.
We believe that every story in the Bible is true, points to Jesus, and tells us something about God and our need for a Savior. Every week, your kids will hear that Jesus loves them and that God has a plan for their life through the stories taught using The Gospel Project curriculum. All of our kids use the same curriculum plan in order to make it easier for families to have conversations about what they learned. Weekly, we send home a handout that includes where the story is found (key passage), the key verse, main points, and a couple of simple discussion questions to talk over with your kids.
We believe that you, as parents, are the primary spiritual influence in your child's life. It is our job, as the church, to come alongside you and support your efforts to teach your kids about Jesus. You can rest assured that while they are here, they will hear about Jesus and come home with resources to help you teach them as well.
Your child's safety is our first priority. Here's what we do to keep them safe:
1. All of our volunteers have completed background checks.
2. Our doors are locked during service and classroom time.
3. Our check-in process ensures you are the only person authorized to pick-up your child.
4. We do not serve any snacks with nuts or peanut butter. We also take note of your child's allergies.
Send a message to the number 81010 and type the message @kids1stp to sign up for our remind texts! This will help you stay in the loop about all upcoming activities, events, and programs.
1. Type in your name or "add a new household"
2. Check in
3. Print the sticker
4. Place the sticker on your child
5. Keep your parent sticker to pick-up your child
