Keith has spent his entire life engaging the emerging generation with the Gospel. The university campus makes his heart beat "a little faster". He enjoys communicating the Word to all generations and seeks to have fun in the process. He loves people, vacations, sports and his family. He and his wife, Carole, have three children: Betsy, 26; Chris, 22; and Shannon, 18.

Boyd Smith

Pastor of Prayer and Care

A faithful man, Boyd has a heart for Jesus and for people. When not in his office chatting with a visitor, he is making rounds at the hospital, and meeting folks in their homes. If you ask Boyd to pray for you, be assured he will add your name to his extensive prayer list. Boyd enjoys coffee (too much coffee) and camping. His favorite season is winter. Boyd and his wife Wanda have four grown children.

Jeff Finley

Interim Minister for College Students

Jeff serves FBC as the Interim Minister for College Students.  In addition to his work at FBC, Jeff is also the Interim Campus Minister for Murray State's Baptist Campus Ministry.  During the summer, he leads "Acts 1:8" summer missions teams for BCM students in Kentucky.

Micah Sugg

Interim Minister for Youth

Micah is our Interim Minister of Students in 7th-12th grades.  Micah has served in various ministry positions in Murray FBC dating back to 2000.  He is passionate about teaching God's Word in a way that challenges students.

Amber Sugg

Children’s Minister

Amber knows that fun and Jesus are not mutually exclusive. She is dedicated to “Fun at Church” - an environment that teaches the truth of Christ in a fun way. Amber enjoys balloons, and giving out her personal award - gold stars. If you receive one, you are truly special. Amber and her husband Micah (a deacon at FBC) have two little girls: Madelyn, and Allison.

Jenni Johnson

Director of Mother’s Day Out

Jenni loves her job, and her enthusiasm is shared by all the staff of MDO. As a mother, Jenni understands the importance of good childcare. While nothing can replace you as the parent, Jenni strives to create a trusted and fun environment where your little one can grow and develop. Jenni and her husband Mike (a deacon at FBC) have three boys: Connor, Jack, and Houston.
