Adventure Story Hours
This class will continue reading Sigmund Brouwer's out of print "Wind of Light" series.  There will be a "catch up" day on Tuesday, January 15 for those who missed the first two books and would like to join us.  We have 4 more books to cover in the next 12 months, so it's not too late to join.  This historical fiction selection is an exciting story of medieval intrigue and a journey of faith and fellowship that will appeal to most children 8 to 13 years old.  Most weeks we'll read aloud and occasionally do hands on history activities.  Class begins on Tuesday, January 15 and meets at 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. in the FBC Library.   Contact Sharon Siebold at 753-6487 or sharon.siebold@gmail.com

Kids for Christ - Third through sixth graders are invited to fellowship together for encouragement, accountability and prayers as they learn to apply biblical principles in everyday life.  Meets the last Wednesday of each month.  Beginning January 30 at 4;30 to 5:45 p.m. in Sean and Huong Kelly's gym located at 30 Romans Way in the Saddle Creek subdivision.  Contact Huong Kelly at 767-0783 seanandhuong@bellsouth.net or Kelly Jackson at 759-0110 or kelwayjackson@newwavecomm.net for more information.

Entomology Day - Homeschoolers, in grades one through six and their parents are invited to the fifth annual Entomology Day.  All ages are welcome.  Nearly identical classes about aquatic insects will meet on Wednesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.  Make reservations in the First Baptist Church library or email Gary and Roberta Jones at bertalu42@yahoo.com.  Each session is limited to 30 people.
